Church Clock
appeal nears its target
Since
November villagers have raised almost £8,000, enough to allow engineers to
start restoring the 150 year old clock. Now the race is on to raise the
remaining £1,500 before Easter.
Donations to Holy Trinity Church Clock Appeal can be sent to Church
treasurer Jim MacAtamney at 27 Medway Drive, Forest
Row, RH18 5NU
St.
Dunstan’s Development
The roof of
the new hall is almost completed and we anticipate that work in the church will
be starting very soon, in preparation for this the
pulpit has now changed places! As soon as the hall is secure and watertight we
hope to see rapid progress with the interior. The underfloor
heating is already laid.
We shall
agree a date with the builder to meet the congregation after one of our 10.00
am services and show them how the development is progressing. Further
information will follow.
The
Management Committee is now conserving regular bookings for the hall starting
in a few months time and anyone or any group who may like more information
should contact one of the committee

Donna Dewar 01342 326424
Valerie
Major 01342 822545
Bob Spoor 01342 824165
We have
decided to call a halt to our coffee-and-chat sessions on Wednesday mornings,
as St. Dunstan’s is currently in the throes of building work. We hope to resume
after Easter, so please watch this space, and we look forward to seeing old
faces and new – and some sunshine.
